Dr. Saul Axelrod is professor emeritus of special education at Temple University. His nearly 40-year record of sustained contributions to scholarly research, to the behavior analytic community and its relationship to other disciplines, and to teacher education is well documented across more than 10 books and over 100 articles in behavioral journals. Additionally, Dr. Axelrod’s behavior analytic research has frequently been published and reprinted in publications across multiple disciplines such as psychology and education. This wide reach reflects his career-long commitment to improving educational practice in both the classroom and the culture at large. Keeping focus on science and principle, Dr. Axelrod’s efforts have enhanced behaviorism in society through ever wider and deeper spheres of influence.
