Considerations PRIOR to Implementation Guide

Our Considerations PRIOR to Implementation Guide serves as a roadmap by providing practical planning instructions for creating individualized forms that are are customized for a specific user or class. This guide walks the user through questions to consider in getting to know your class; beginning the Self & Match System and logistics related to considering student performance, and integration of IEP.  Specific sections of the guide lead the form developer through the following:

Target Behaviors - Identify attainable target behaviors and milestones that pave the way for growth

Implementation Logistics - Consider frequency, timing, methodology, and rewards for student participation

Data Collection - Determine system for collecting, graphing, and reporting on data collected for each student's progress

Considerations DURING Implementation Guide

Once the Self & Match System is in place, our Considerations DURING Implementation Guide provides tips for enhancing and improving forms that are already in place. The guide provides actionable steps to review your data and develop a plan for next steps based on an ROQ (Review, Observe, Question) process. Specific areas that are covered in the review process include:

Reviewing completed Self & Match forms for comprehensiveness, consistency, and correctness

Evaluating the established reward system for attainability, timeliness, and appropriateness

Analyzing questions and responses used in the forms to determine attainability, ability to challenge student, matching between student and parent/teacher, and alignment with IEP
